Sometimes your face doesn’t need more treatment. It just needs its lost volume back.
YOUR FACE MAY JUST NEED MORE OF WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE.
Sometimes what makes the face look older isn’t excess skin—it’s loss of volume.
Hollow cheeks. Sunken temples. A tired-looking under-eye area. Thin lips. Deepening facial contours.
So what if you could restore volume using your own fat?
Fat grafting, also called fat transfer or fat injections, uses a small amount of your own fat from another area of the body and carefully transfers it to areas that need volume or contour.
The aim isn’t to make your face look “filled.”
It’s to restore proportion, soften hollow areas and bring back a more naturally balanced appearance.
Depending on your needs, facial fat grafting may be considered for areas such as:
- Hollow or sunken cheeks
- Under-eye hollows
- Sunken temples
- Thin lips
- Facial volume loss
- Selected acne scars
- Facial contour correction and rejuvenation
How is it done?
A small amount of fat is gently harvested from a suitable donor area, processed and then placed in carefully selected areas in small amounts. The procedure may be performed as a day-care procedure, with local anesthesia depending on the area and extent of treatment.
You can expect some swelling and bruising after treatment. The early appearance is not the final result; some of the transferred fat is naturally absorbed and the result settles progressively over the following months.
Why use your own fat?
Unlike a manufactured filler, the material being transferred is your own body fat.
